From idea to production: what we learned from launching helicopters in Ultima Yandex Go

We will share how, in an experiment to launch a helicopter service for Ultima Yandex Go, a project with unique logic and numerous integrations, leveraging existing mechanisms helped us speed up and simplify the process. We’ll review which architectural solutions helped us move from idea to production, what challenges we faced, and what practices may be useful for other teams launching new services.

How to launch a service with non-trivial integrations and premium requirements in a short time? In this workshop, participants will form teams of six and try themselves as tech leads: designing architecture, setting priorities, and making key technical decisions to make the service «take off.» At each table, an expert will guide the discussion and share experience.
